Location in Planet Walk: Guildhall Square

by Lacey Miller, Y5, Woodcroft Primary School

Mercury is the innermost and smallest planet of the Solar System. It goes around the Sun in just less than 3 Earth months.

Mercury has no atmosphere, and so its surface is covered with craters, much like the Moon.

Mercury experiences the largest changes in temperature on its surface from night-time lows of -183°C to daytime highs of +427°C.
