Welcome to the online payment system for NAM2014. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the NAM2014 conference, to our exciting science programme and many social activities.
To register for the conference please follow the link below and click on “Book Event”. You will be asked to follow a number of steps
Step 1 – Create an Account
You will be asked to register by providing your e-mail address, your choice of password and your contact information.
Step 2 – Delegate Category
You will be asked to choose one of the delegate categories. If you are a member of RAS, please choose the RAS member or RAS student category to receive a discounted rate for registration fees, please have your RAS membership number to hand.
Step 3 – Your Choices
You will be asked to select your choice of conference attendance dates, accommodation, social activities and free events.
We are offering a choice of discounted packages to include discounted registration fees and University accommodation or a range of flexible options to suit your needs.
We are organising a programme of social activities including a conference banquet onboard HMS Warrior and a comedy evening entitled “Science Comedy Supernova” in Gunwharf Quays. We expect both of these events to be very popular, with tickets selling out very quickly. We would encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.
Please take care when selecting from the range of options as your choices are not restricted by the online booking system. As a delegate, it is possible, for example, to book registration for the full week and to also book single day registrations. It is also possible to book more than one type of accommodation for the same evening. You will have the opportunity to review your order before you make your payment but if you notice a mistake after your payment has been processed then you will need to contact the University’s central Finance Department (firstname.lastname@example.org) to arrange a refund. The NAM2014 organisers are unable to directly arrange refunds. Booking errors can be rectified and refunds offered until 30th May 2014. After 30th May 2014 we will be unable to offer any refunds as final numbers will have been confirmed to suppliers.
Step 4 – Adding extra Guests or Delegates
You will be able to add an extra guest to your booking so your guest can attend the social activities or free events. You will also be able to add extra delegates to your booking, allowing you to register and pay for additional delegates to also attend the conference.
Step 5 – Reviewing your Order and Making your Payment
You will be able to click on “View Pending Booking” to review your order. If you notice a mistake you can close this screen and click “Edit” next to your name to edit your booking.
Once you are happy with your booking, click on “Add to Basket”, followed by “Proceed to Check-out” to make your payment by credit or debit card.
Adding extra items after your Payment has been made
If you notice that you have missed items from your original booking, you will be able to re-enter the online payment system, using your e-mail address and the same password, to book and pay for any additional items, subject to availability. At the delegate details screen, click “Use my Customer Details” for your contact details to be auto-filled into the relevant fields.
Amending your Order and Requesting a Refund
Bookings can be amended up to 30th May 2014. You will need to contact the University’s central Finance Department (email@example.com) to amend your booking and arrange a refund. After 30th May 2014 we will be unable to offer any refunds as final numbers will have been confirmed to suppliers.
