Delegates are invited to register their interest in the first ever NAM Hack Day. This will take place all day (9-5pm), Wednesday 25th June in the University of Portsmouth Park Building (location of parallel sessions). Attendees must be registered for the conference to attend the Hack Day. Note that NAM registration closes on 30th May 2014.
The NAM Hack Day is about bringing together science, technology and enthusiasm to solve new an interesting problems in astronomy. Perhaps you’re interested in hacking on a new dataset or web API with your favourite programming language or have an idea about how to layer on a peer-review interface to the arXiv. Bring your laptop, ideas and enthusiasm – we’ll supply WiFi, snacks and caffeine.
